Re: BLD 20TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION PARADE OF BANNERS

We wish to remind that the EVANGELIZATION APOSTOLATE is next scheduled to showcase their banners on Friday, June 4th, 2010.  The parade will start promptly at 8:00 p.m. followed immediately by Holy Mass.  Formation is to be coordinated by the Apostolate DCS and Ministry Heads.  There will be a brief podium introduction of the Apostolate and Ministries.  Each Ministry should quietly wait for their queue and promptly enter the Church as soon as their Ministry is announced.

If your child is interested in attending the upcoming YE # 12, may we suggest that you register as soon as possible to hold your spot.  Space is very limited.  Registration form is available from the Youth Ministry.

Re:  YIDC 2010
Those who have registered and are taking the bus, may we ask that you settle your payments with the Youth Ministry.  Youth participants who are below 18 will need a Letter of Consent.  Please see the Youth Ministry for details.

 

From ME Class No. 20, Sponsors of BLD 2010 Summer Picnic.

WE ALL MISSED IT LAST YEAR…

BUT, it is ON THIS YEAR so come one, come all!  Invite your ME classmates, families and friends to the annual BLD 2010 Summer Picnic.

We, the ME Class #20, are thrilled and ecstatic to sponsor this year’s BLD “Pista Sa Nayon” themed picnic which will be held at Earl Bales Park located at Bathurst Street and Sheppard Avenue West in Toronto on Saturday, July 17, 2010.  Registration starts at 8:30 a.m.  An early bird prize will be given to the first individual or class to register. Programs will start promptly right after.

We ask that everyone attend this event as it will not be a success without your help and support. We encourage each and everyone to participate in the games/contests in which prizes will be given. We also ask that you share your God-given talents with our brothers and sisters in the community may it be singing, dancing or a skit.

Let us make this picnic a memorable one and enjoy it with your fellow classmates, families and friends. And to make these super exciting, prizes will be given throughout the day.

So, brothers and sisters, enjoy and relax your day. May we suggest that you bring your favourite food, lounge chairs, umbrella and portable picnic tables as the park has a limited number of picnic tables.  Also, don’t forget your hats, sunglasses, sunscreen lotion and your BLD ID as well.

There will be a teaching on Charismata/Prayer Leadership tomorrow, May 29th, 2010, at OLA Chapel, from 9:00 to 4:00 pm. Invitees are LSS 22/23 graduates.

For those aspirants who missed Community and Growth Part I, a second offering is scheduled this coming Monday, May 31st, 2010, 7:30PM to 10:30PM, at OLA Chapel.
