This is a reminder to everyone of the announced Lenten Recollection next Friday, March 26, 2010 at the OLA Church form 8:00 pm.  The Retreat will be facilitated by Fr. Salvador Orara.

This Recollection is open to everyone, BLD members and friends. Please plan to be early as we expect a good number of participants for this Recollection.

To all parents and grandparents please be advised that there will be no Mark 10 Session on that Friday of March 26

Please note of the following schedule of the Mark 10 Ministry during this Lenten Period

1.  There will be NO Mark 10 Session on Friday next week March 26, 2010 during the Lenten Recollection. 

2. Closed also on Friday of April 02, 2010 being a Good Friday 

3. Mark 10 Session will resume on April 9, 2010.

From the Solo Parents Ministry
 
With Easter coming so early this year, our Solo Parents Encounter No. 9 will come soon.
 Applications for Solo Parents Encounter #9 to be held on April 9 to 11, 2010 at Mt. Mary Immaculate Retreat Centre, are still available before and after the Friday's corporate worship in the church basement.  For details, please get in touch with any members of the Solo Parents Ministry.
 We would like also to remind those who have confirmed candidates and have completed the application forms, kindly submit them to Linda Canaria, Sylvia Centeno, Monette McQuaid, Nilda Villa or to any of the SPE memners as soon as possible.

From the Singles’ Ministry
 
Are you or anyone you know "Single and looking...for Jesus"?  Come and join our Singles Encounter Weekend #13 which will be held on May 14-16, 2010 at Mt. Mary Immaculate Retreat Centre.  Application forms are available before and after the worship in the basement hall.  For more information, please speak to any member of the sponsoring class or the Singles’ Ministry.

From the Youth Ministry

We praise and thank the Lord for a very successful spirit-filled YLSS weekend.  Congratulations to the graduates of the BLD Toronto Youth Life in the Spirit Seminar # 11.  On behalf of the BLD Toronto Youth Ministry, thank you to all of you for your prayers, support and love offerings.  We also would like to thank all the youth and adult members of the Youth Ministry and some members of the Singles Ministry.  This event will not be possible without their enthusiasm and hard work.  We want to remind everyone that there will be a post shepherding session tonight in the basement and, once again, we would request everyone to please exit through the doors beside the altar, observe silence while waiting and intercede for all the candidates, shepherds and co-shepherds.  Next Friday, March 26, there will be no youth praise and worship.  All youths are invited to attend the Community recollection here upstairs.  Thank you and God bless.
