In lieu of the Seven Last Words, the community will have a Lenten Recollection on Friday, March 26, 2010 at the OLA Church  from 8:00 pm.  Our Retreat Master will be Fr. Salvador Orara.

There will be a short Introductory Prayer starting at 8:00 pm followed immediately with the Recollection  

Please disseminate this information to your members via email or telephone. This Recollection is open to all BLD members and other group to give everyone an opportunity to hear the Lord’s message to all of us, as part of our Lenten spiritual journey.

We request everyone to be on time to help us manage the seating arrangement and to fully experience the Retreat.

With Easter coming so early this year, our Solo Parents Encounter No. 9 will come soon.
 
Applications for Solo Parents Encounter #9 to be held on April 9 to 11, 2010 at Mt. Mary Immaculate Retreat Centre, are still available before and after the Friday's corporate worship in the church basement.  For details, please get in touch with any members of the Solo Parents Ministry.
 
We would like also to remind those who have confirmed candidates and have completed the application forms, kindly submit them to Linda Canaria, Sylvia Centeno, Monette McQuaid, Nilda Villa or to any of the SPE memners as soon as possible.

Brothers and sisters, the 2010 BLD Spring Dance will be held on Saturday, May 1st, 6 p.m. at the Humberwood Community Center.  Tickets for "Flores de Mayo sa BLD" are now available from your DLC.   Or you may approach the members of ME 30 at our table in the basement hall after mass tonight and every Friday before and after Corporate Worship.  Get your tickets now before they are sold out.  Bring your children and grandchildren early so they can join the traditional procession in honor of our Blessed Mother Mary.  It will be an evening of celebration with songs and dances, good food and music, as well as loving fellowship.  Support our fundraising event by inviting your family and friends. Thank you.  God bless our BLD Community!"
