The Marriage and Family Life Apostolate (“MFLA”), through the grace of God, is pleased to announce that it will be conducting the Family Encounter (“F.E.”) # 17 Weekend on Saturday, August 25 to Sunday, August 26, 2012 at the Monte Carlo Inn, 7255 Warden Avenue and Denison, Markham, ON L3R 1B4, Tel. No: (905) 752-2700.

Families, whose parents are graduates of Bukas Loob Sa Diyos (”BLD”) M.E. or SPE and L.S.S. Programs are qualified and are encouraged to attend this spiritual weekend workshop together with their unmarried children (ages 9 and up). Married children (below 26 years old) may attend provided they live in the same house as their parents. Exceptions to the above will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the MFLA and the District Council of Stewards.

We would encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible as we will be processing them on a “first-come, first-served” basis.

Brothers and sisters, let us once again welcome the graduates of ME Class #33 headed by their Class Shepherds, Ed and Cristy Samson.  Let us give thanks to Our Lord for giving these thirteen couples memories which will last a lifetime.  (May we call on the Class of ME #33 to stand and be recognized)

Let us also give thanks to Fr. Tito, Pat and Rose Canlas and Lito & Arlene Martin for their powerful  teachings and sharings.  (May we call on these 2 couples to please stand?)

The successful ME weekend was made possible by the united and humble services of the sponsoring class of ME #32,  led graciously and lovingly by their shepherd couple, Gie & Beth Santulan.  Their hard work and perseverance made this priceless weekend possible. We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the various ministries, sponsors, auxies and those who offered love offerings in cash and kind and to the whole BLD community for their love, support  and prayers.

Most of all, we give thanks to our Almighty God for calling these 13 couples to experience his embracing love and mercy.  The lives of these couples will never be the same.

Brothers and sisters, let us all welcome them together with their Class Shepherd Couple, Ed and Cristy Samson!
