Functions:

  • Oversee the proper conduct of Toronto LSS (Adults and Youth) and Mission's Parish assisted LSS.
  • Assist the assigned LSS Coordinator in the planning of the LSS.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the LSS in the areas of:

Logistics: Availability of pertinent equipment and materials, such as sound system, musical instruments, talk posters/titles, handouts, etc.
Venues: Sourcing comfortable, convenient and inexpensive venues.
Manpower: Identifying and training LSS Coordinators

  • Coordinate with Formation (Witnessing Development) in identifying new sharers to be developed for the LSS.
  • Assist the LSS Coordinator in the preparation of the LSS budget and the releases of the same as the need arises.
  • Ensure that all materials are available during the LSS.
  • Ensure that the LSS is conducted in accordance with the policies and guidelines, and that the LSS Operations Manual is followed accordingly.
  • Assist in logistical arrangements for the Orientation, Shepherds Retreat, One-on-ones and General Confession, Invocation Mass, LSS Proper and LSS Grand Reunion.
  • Liaise with each Encounter class shepherds and arrange with Formation (Teaching Ministry) the scheduling and conduct of the LSS Orientation(s).
  • Coordinate with Treasury the submission of the Financial Report to the Management after the LSS.
  • Submit list of LSS graduates to the Secretariat and the Discipling Group for the discipleship formation program after the LSS Grand Reunion.

RAFFLE UPDATE

BLD Raffle 2011 draw was held last Friday, September 16, 2011 during the 21st Community Day celebration at the Our Lady of Assumption Church.

Our beloved Spiritual Director, Fr. Ben Ebcas picked the winning ticket stubs with assistance of DCS Management Frank Cuaresma and Mert Geronimo, Treasury Ministry.
